Great Salt Lake Medical was established when Dr. Emily Bullock, a clinical psychologist and Air Force veteran, acquired the existing Affordable Ketamine Clinic in 2023 and reimagined it as a comprehensive integrative medical and psychiatric practice. Dr. Bullock expanded the clinic’s services well beyond its origins in ketamine infusion therapy, adding Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), functional medicine through the BIOFIT program, and a KAP prescribing clinic designed to serve therapists across Utah who are trained in psychedelic-assisted treatment modalities.
The vision behind Great Salt Lake Medical was straightforward: advanced psychiatric and medical interventions should not be a last resort. They should be accessible, coordinated, and integrated with psychological care from the beginning. That philosophy guided every clinical decision made under Dr. Bullock’s leadership.
In January 2026, Great Salt Lake Medical was acquired by Stella Mental Health, a national interventional psychiatry practice with more than 20 locations across the United States and a clinical track record of helping over 30,000 patients. Through this partnership, patients now have access to a significantly expanded suite of advanced treatments, including IV ketamine, Spravato (esketamine), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Dual Sympathetic Reset Stellate Ganglion Block (DSR-SGB), medication management, psychotherapy, and a virtual Intensive Outpatient Program, all delivered within Stella’s coordinated, evidence-based care model.
The clinical rigor and patient-first approach Dr. Bullock built into this practice continue under Stella’s leadership, with greater resources and treatment reach than ever before.
